The benefits of soy
- Rich in plant proteins
Naturally rich in vegetable proteins, soy provides in addition the 8 amino acids essential to our body.
We need proteins for our muscles and stamina. Nutritionists actually recommend that we absorb more vegetable than animal proteins: 2/3 against 1/3, although we do exactly the opposite today!
So to get things right, we just need to alternate the protein sources:
By consuming 1 to several times a week soy-based drinks or desserts
By replacing once to twice a week meat by a source of vegetable proteins such as : tofu, soy burgers, soy nuggets…
