For babies under 6 months old, breast feeding remains the first choice when possible.
Between 6 months and 3 years: in Asia, children are fed soy-based food very early, and tofu in particular, right from the beginning of food diversification.
In Europe, the consumption of soy-based preparations is often triggered by the paediatrician in some circumstances.
Current soy-based food, such as Sojasun products, may be introduced progressively, like any other, when diversifying food from the age of 6 months. Before the age of 1 year, the introduction of new food must remain progressive, especially in the event of allergy family history.
Sojasun does not offer children food preparations for babies under 1 year old. However, the Sojasun “Growth” Drink is adapted to the nutrition requirements of children between the ages of 1 and 3.
Beyond the age of 3: the other Sojasun products are current foodstuff, which contribute to the nutrition supplements for the whole family. Due to their richness in good nutritional quality plant proteins, they can be used in alternation with the corresponding products of animal origin (meat, dairy products), in similar portions.
